Semiconductor makers are shrinking devices to scales where traditional measurement tools start to blur. Makr Microsystems, a US-India startup, has raised $1.1M in seed funding to build sharper alternatives.
The round was backed by Bluehill VC and Artha Venture Fund. The company is developing 3D metrology tools for the nanometer scale, using innovations in Acoustic AFM imaging and optical tomography. Its pitch: give chip manufacturers a clearer view as they push toward advanced nodes, where precision becomes both harder and more critical.
