Mainstay, a startup building a single system for decisions across buying, owning, and selling homes, has raised $18.0M. The round drew backing from Parker89, Stackpoint, Alpaca VC, FJ Labs, Khosla Ventures, Era Ventures, and Clocktower Technology Ventures.
The company was founded inside Opendoor and spun out as an independent business in 2024. Its software is aimed at residential real estate decisions across the entire ownership lifecycle - buy, own, and sell - rather than a single slice of the transaction.
