MAC-UK Secures £30K to Revolutionize Mental Health Support for Excluded Youth

MAC-UK is proud to announce a major milestone in its journey to radically transform mental health services for excluded young people.

We have successfully raised 30,000, an achievement that marks an important step forward in our mission to co-produce more inclusive and accessible public services that take the effective practices of clinical mental health care directly to young people in their communities.

This funding will be invested in broadening our service outreach—providing critical support to young people in care, custody, and community settings—as well as strengthening our dissemination partnerships that are pivotal for redesigning how services are delivered to those who have traditionally been marginalized.

At MAC-UK, we believe that the solutions to complex challenges in mental health can be found by leveraging the lived experiences of young people themselves.

This new allocation of resources is set to further our impact in research, publications, conferences, teaching, and training, thereby challenging the systems that perpetuate health, social, and economic inequalities.
