Lomby has raised $2.5M in Series A funding. The round drew backing from Mercuria Investment, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Tama Shinkin Bank–SNETI Investment Limited Partnership, Canal Ventures, Nabtesco Technology Ventures L.P., and Drone Fund.
The company builds advanced websites on Drupal, the open-source content management system, and runs training around it - courses for developers and for internet initiators with special needs, plus seminars and consulting for commercial and social organizations. It recently launched ReadyWeb, a product aimed at quick, flexible websites for small and growing businesses. Lomby says it has established an activity center in the Galilee and helped start an Open Code Forum there with other local internet professionals.
