The AI-native CRM space just got a serious cash infusion. Lightfield has raised $47.0M in a Series A round, a signal that investors are betting big on software that builds itself from your existing workflow.
The company’s pitch is simple: instead of manually logging every call and email, Lightfield watches your inbox, calendar, and meetings, then assembles a CRM around that activity. It auto-generates accounts, tasks, and follow-ups, aiming to eliminate the data-entry grind that plagues traditional sales tools. The round is backed by a heavy roster including a16z, Greylock, Lightspeed, and Coatue, among others. For a product that’s still early, that’s a vote of confidence in the idea that the CRM of the future won’t ask you to type anything in.
