Kyndred, a startup building AI characters that can stream, perform, and hold a conversation, has raised $570K in pre-seed funding from Early Game Ventures.
The company's characters run on real-time generative animation, emotion-aware voice, and what it calls living memory - the combination meant to give them a sense of presence rather than the stiffer, scripted feel of typical AI avatars. Kyndred is pitching them for co-streaming on Twitch and YouTube, interactive brand mascots, companionship, and creative performance.
