Corporate treasury work still runs on clunky, manual bank portals, but Koxa is betting that a better connection between accounting software and bank accounts is worth $8.7M. The company has raised that amount in a new funding round, backing its API platform that plugs directly into tools like NetSuite, Workday, and Sage Intacct.
Koxa’s pitch is simple: instead of forcing CFOs and treasurers to toggle between their bank’s online portal and their accounting system, the software brings treasury functions-payments, approvals, permissions-right into the tools they already use. It sells through bank partners, who offer the experience to their corporate clients. The round signals growing investor appetite for modernizing a corner of finance that has long lagged behind consumer banking.
