Enterprises grappling with vast amounts of unstructured data in complex documents now have more capital-backed solutions. Korea Deep Learning Inc., a Document AI company, has secured an $8.3M Series A round to further its mission of liberating trapped data.
The firm employs a Vision Language Model (VLM) with patented Segment Captioning to deliver high-precision OCR and parsing. Its technology moves beyond basic text extraction, understanding the context, layout, and semantic meaning of everything from distorted scans to tables within tables, aiming to convert static PDFs and images into structured, analyzable assets.
