KleerCard has raised $2.3M in seed funding, a bet that small businesses and non-profits want more control over their corporate plastic than traditional issuers typically allow. The payments startup鈥檚 pitch is straightforward: give organizations the ability to issue their own corporate credit cards and manage them end-to-end, rather than relying on a bank鈥檚 one-size-fits-all product.
The round鈥檚 backers weren鈥檛 disclosed, but the capital gives KleerCard runway to build out its platform as it targets a niche that鈥檚 often underserved by bigger players. For a company whose entire premise is handing control to the cardholder, the funding is a validation that the market sees room for a more flexible alternative.
