Manufacturers looking to boost precision and automation in their processes just got a new ally with K3Metrology, which has closed a $3.5M seed funding round. The spin-out from the National Physical Laboratory developed Metralis, a laser-based coordinate measurement system aimed at helping advanced manufacturers measure better, move faster, and build with confidence.
The investment round was backed by UK Innovation & Science Seed Fund (UKI2S), Development Bank of Wales, and Parkwalk Advisors, signaling confidence in K3Metrology's technology for accuracy assurance.
