Invenergy has secured $215.0M from a Crux-managed vehicle, a fresh infusion for the Chicago-based power infrastructure giant that already operates more than 25 gigawatts across four continents.
The company, North America’s largest privately held developer and operator of energy assets, brings a quarter-century of experience to projects spanning natural gas, solar, wind, storage, and transmission. This capital injection arrives as Invenergy continues to expand its footprint, having developed over 220 projects totaling more than 38 gigawatts to date. The backing from a Crux-managed vehicle signals growing investor appetite for established players in the energy transition space, though specifics on how the funds will be deployed remain under wraps.
