Indrus has raised $523K in pre-seed funding to keep doing what it does in freight yards without attaching anything to the equipment. The round was backed by Purpose Ventures, Melt Ventures and Curtin University.
The Perth-based company tracks trailers, vehicles and pallets in distribution and 3PL yards, freight and laydown depots, and vehicle terminals at ports - no tags, beacons or readers required. Indrus says its system is deployed across Australia and the United States and has been validated at 98% against shipping manifests.
