INCAPTO has raised $11.2M to keep pushing its case against the coffee capsule. The Barcelona-based company, founded in 2020 by Francesc Font, Bea Mesas and Joaquim Mach, sells specialty whole-bean coffee alongside superautomatic machines that grind on demand - pitching convenience and quality without the waste.
It's a direct challenge to the pod-and-roast model that dominates Spanish kitchens, and the company frames the mission in blunt terms: a fairer, more responsible coffee world with better taste. The new capital is not broken out by use.
