Immunis, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing stem cell-derived biologics to address age-related diseases, has closed its Series A funding round with $12.0M. The capital will further its work on IMM01-STEM, an investigational secretome designed to refine immune cell responses and benefit muscle regeneration.
The company is currently conducting a Phase 2 clinical trial for IMM01-STEM, testing its safety and efficacy in patients with sarcopenic obesity. This therapy aims to simultaneously decrease fat and enhance muscle, addressing significant unmet medical needs in age-related muscle atrophy and obesity.
