IGNITE UCC Secures 5000 in Seed Funding to Empower Recent Graduate Entrepreneurs

We’re thrilled to announce that IGNITE UCC has successfully raised €5,000 in funding to further enhance our pioneering start-up incubation programme aimed at recent graduates.

Based in the heart of University College Cork, IGNITE has garnered international acclaim for its innovative approach to nurturing entrepreneurial talent among graduates from all Irish third-level institutions.

The funding will be instrumental in expanding our offerings, allowing us to develop even more workshops and seminars that empower aspiring entrepreneurs to transform their brilliant ideas into viable and scalable businesses.

By availing themselves of essential resources such as one-on-one coaching, mentorship, and invaluable industry contacts, our participants are equipped with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of starting a business in today’s dynamic market.

Moreover, this funding will support our shared workspace at UCC's Western Gateway Building, ensuring that each start-up has access to a collaborative and inspiring environment.

Importantly, IGNITE UCC is proud to maintain a non-equity stake relationship with the talented entrepreneurs we support, allowing them to retain full ownership of their ventures as they embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.
