Horizon3.ai has raised $250.0M in a Series E round, a hefty infusion that underscores how much money is chasing the question of whether companies can actually withstand AI-powered attacks. The round was backed by NEA, NightDragon, Qualcomm Ventures, SAIC, and EDBI.
The company’s pitch is that its NodeZero platform flips the script on offensive security: instead of relying on manual pentests, it autonomously probes defenses at machine speed, finds exploitable paths, and verifies fixes. With more than 225,000 production-safe tests under its belt and a client list that includes the NSA and CISA, Horizon3.ai is betting that the era of human-led security testing is giving way to something faster-and that investors want a piece of that shift.
