A Munich-based biotech aiming to personalize treatment for neuropsychiatric disorders, HMNC Brain Health, has secured $50.0M in Series B funding. The precision medicine pioneer, which focuses on depression, announced the capital infusion from investor MEDICE.
Founded in 2010, HMNC Brain Health combines machine learning-enabled companion diagnostics with specific therapeutics. Its approach involves developing patented genetic tests and pairing them with innovative, exclusively in-licensed medications to create precise therapies, ultimately seeking to reduce the immense individual and societal burden of these diseases.
