Hivebotics has raised $6.0M in a Series A round backed by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India, Fareast Land Development, and Rigel.
The Singapore-based startup is building robots to take over the grunt work of facility upkeep-starting with restrooms. Its flagship product, Abluo, handles multifunctional cleaning of bathrooms, predicts HVAC maintenance issues, and runs autonomous security patrols. The company frames itself as productivity fanatics, aiming to free humans from repetitive tasks and eventually manage entire buildings with a fleet of robots. The fresh capital will help push that vision forward, though specifics on deployment remain under wraps.
