Employers looking to cut benefit costs while boosting employee coverage just got a new boost, as Healia Health, a Columbus, Ohio, health tech company, announced a $14.0M Series A funding round. The capital infusion saw participation from investors including 111掳 West Capital, Y Combinator, First Round Capital, Pioneer Fund, GoAhead Ventures, and North Coast Ventures.
Healia Health builds health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) for employers. Its Total Care Option (TCO) specifically targets dual-income employees, enabling employers to fully reimburse out-of-pocket costs when an employee opts into a spouse's health plan. Since its 2021 founding, the company has facilitated access to $33 million in benefits for families.
