Factory floors are noisy, chaotic places where time leaks away in small, costly ways-waiting for the right document, hunting for a part, or catching an error too late. Harmoni, a startup building what it calls "factory orchestration" software, just raised $10.0M in a Series A round led by Bessemer Venture Partners to push back against that disorder.
The company’s platform sits at each machine as a central command hub, using RFID to automate non-productive tasks like locating tools or materials in real time. It also checks that operators only see the correct engineering drawings, then layers in data from ERP systems, machines, and people to create a live, visual snapshot of factory performance. Harmoni says it can deploy in weeks and delivers immediate returns on productivity and quality-a pitch that clearly resonated with Bessemer as the industrial sector warms to software that tackles old-school inefficiencies head-on.
