We are thrilled to announce that growPack has successfully raised $2.2 million in funding to further propel our mission of creating a sustainable future where human activities harmoniously coexist with nature. Founded in early 2018 by lifelong friends Sean Tenorio and Exequiel Bunge, growPack is dedicated to developing regenerative technologies that harness the power of Earth's most abundant organic compounds—lignin and cellulose. Our groundbreaking approach has led to the creation of a novel compostable biomaterial, coupled with a decentralized farm-to-market production model that allows us to offer environmentally responsible products at competitive prices, even in low-volume scenarios. The recent funding will support the scaling of our technological advancements, enabling us to finalize strategic partnerships and bring our innovative solutions to a broader audience. With a demo plant located in Vinhedo, SP, we are currently engaged in launching proof of concepts with corporate clients and key stakeholders across the value chain. Our work not only aims to foster a carbon-neutral circular economy but also ensures that we co-create value-added packaging solutions with our customers without compromising on functionality, aesthetics, or cost. As we looked ahead to the future, this funding marks a significant milestone in our journey, propelling us further toward our vision: from plants, to people, to plants. Together, we can drive the transition toward a sustainable and regenerative world.
