Greenwave Circularity Private Limited, the Indian company transforming scrap PET bottles into food-grade resins and other recycled polymers, has secured $31.5M in new investment. The capital will bolster its efforts to deliver sustainable packaging solutions, helping fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brands achieve carbon neutrality and drive circularity.
The company operates a plastic recycling facility in Odisha, India, where it converts used PET bottles into food-grade resins and preforms for food and beverage packaging. Greenwave also produces materials for technical textiles and automotive applications, working with recycled PET, PP, and HDPE polymers to expand the lifecycle of plastics.
