Uganda's ambitious drive towards a renewable energy-powered transport sector just received a significant financial injection. E-mobility startup Green Hub East Africa Ltd has secured $12.8M in a Series A funding round, pushing forward its vision to transition all vehicles in the nation to sustainable energy sources.
The company, co-founded by Kjaer Group/Motorcare and Nexus Green Ltd, is building a collaborative framework. It aims to work alongside the Government of Uganda, private sector, civil society, and academia to transform the country's mobility landscape, moving away from fossil fuels.
