A crowdfunding round has brought $286K to GoldieBlox, Inc., the children's media company that's built a brand around inspiring the next generation of female engineers. Known for its girl engineer character and integrating storytelling with STEM principles, GoldieBlox aims to challenge gender stereotypes through its expanding global character franchise.
The company has already made a significant splash in children's entertainment, becoming the first startup to feature in both a Super Bowl commercial and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Its founder, Debbie Sterling, has also garnered numerous accolades for her work in empowering girls.
