GenHealth.ai has raised $16.5M in a Series A round, a bet that generative AI can move beyond administrative tasks and into the clinical workflow itself. Flare Capital Partners led the round, with participation from Obvious, Craft, Eniac, InHealth, Epsilon Health Investors, and ARTIS.
The company builds generative AI tools tailored for healthcare, an area where the stakes-and the regulatory scrutiny-are higher than in most other sectors. The fresh capital arrives as providers and payers increasingly test AI for everything from documentation to decision support, though questions about accuracy and liability remain unresolved. GenHealth.ai鈥檚 backers are clearly wagering that its approach can clear those hurdles, but the real proof will come in whether clinicians actually trust the output.
