Gateways Hospital & Mental Health Center Lands $19.2M Grant to Expand Community-Based Mental Healthcare

Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center is excited to announce a significant funding milestone that will enable us to expand our community-based mental health services even further.

Recently, we raised $19,200,000 in a funding round that underscores the growing recognition of our mission to provide high-quality mental health care to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Since opening our first modest 12-bed facility in 1953, Gateways has remained steadfast in our belief that access to mental health services should not be determined by one's financial resources.

This generous investment will be directly applied to enhancing our comprehensive range of services, including our acute care psychiatric hospital, child and adolescent outpatient services, forensic programs, homeless services, residential programs, and our innovative Wellness Center.

With the increasing demand for mental health support, especially among populations facing economic and social challenges, this funding will help us expand inpatient and outpatient programs and invest in state-of-the-art facilities and community outreach initiatives.
