FuVeX has secured $3.5M in pre-seed funding, a bet on its proprietary long-range drone ecosystem designed for power line inspections. The company says its technology has already covered over 30,000 kilometers of infrastructure, protected by eight patents.
The round’s backers weren’t disclosed, but the capital arrives as utilities increasingly look for faster, safer alternatives to manual line checks. FuVeX’s drones are built to cover vast distances autonomously, a niche that could prove sticky in a sector where downtime is costly.
