Frontera Healthcare Secures $32M Seed Round to Expand Rural, Accessible Healthcare in Texas

Recently, the organization raised an impressive $32,000,000 in funding, a testament to the trust and commitment from our partners and stakeholders who believe in our vision of becoming the nation’s model for rural community health center organization and outcomes.

As a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC), Frontera Healthcare provides comprehensive primary and preventative care across Brady, Fredericksburg, Junction, Mason, and Menard, Texas.

Our services extend well beyond traditional healthcare; in addition to offering vital primary care, we provide behavioral health services—both onsite and virtually—ensuring our patients receive holistic and integrated support.

Moreover, our clinics are equipped with pharmacy services, women’s health, healthy steps and immunizations, annual physical examinations, school/employment physicals, lab services, X-ray services, referrals to specialists, health and nutrition education, and support for Medicaid/CHIP eligibility and enrollment.

This funding will empower us to expand these critical services, enhance our state-of-the-art facilities, and invest in innovative community programs that promote health and prevent disease.
