Foundational Industries has raised $25.0M in seed funding to build a network of AI-native, autonomous factories aimed at reshoring critical supply chains. The company’s pitch is straightforward: use autonomy-first manufacturing, reconfigurable by design, to let U.S. companies produce high-quality goods domestically at competitive cost.
The round’s backers weren’t disclosed, but the capital is meant to push forward Foundational’s unified, AI-driven factory operating layer that ties design to production. The startup frames its mission in stark terms-restoring American manufacturing capability as a matter of economic and national security-and this funding gives it a runway to start making that case with more than just a slide deck.
