Saudi Arabia’s corporate travel sector is getting a fresh infusion of capital, with Riyadh-based FlyAkeed securing $25.1M in a new funding round. The investment comes from Sanabil Investments, Artal Capital, tali ventures, and AlJazira Capital, marking a notable vote of confidence in the Kingdom’s push to modernize business travel under Vision 2030.
FlyAkeed, founded in 2015, has built a platform that replaces the manual grind of booking and managing business trips-emails, spreadsheets, and phone calls-with a single system handling approvals, bookings, mid-trip changes, and expense reconciliation. Travelers get a self-service app with global inventory and corporate fares, while managers gain policy controls and live spend dashboards. The company, which runs operations from Riyadh and R&D in the Philippines, says the fresh capital will help it scale as demand for streamlined travel tools grows across the region.
