Flok Health, a CQC-registered healthcare provider leveraging AI and human physiotherapists for back pain treatment, has secured $12.5M in Series a funding. The round saw participation from AlbionVC, Mercia Ventures, Eka VC, and Form Ventures, backing a company that aims to deliver personalised care at population scale without waiting lists.
The startup stands out for its Class IIa Medical Device AI system, which holds the distinction of being the first AI platform with regulatory clearance to deliver fully autonomous healthcare directly to patients. This allows Flok Health to entirely manage patient pathways for NHS Trusts and Commissioners, from self-referral through to assessment, multidisciplinary treatment, and discharge.
