FitXR, the fitness technology company behind one of the top-downloaded apps on the Meta Quest store, has secured $7.5M in Series A funding. The capital will support its mission to make movement simpler and more enjoyable through immersive VR and MR workout experiences.
The UK-born scale-up, which started in a garden shed in 2016, offers a growing range of fitness studios including box workouts with Olympian Nicola Adams, powerful HIIT, and immersive dance classes. Its app is available on Meta Quest 2 and has been downloaded by over a million people worldwide.
