Factrika, a workforce platform aimed at India's manufacturing staffing problems, has raised $940K in seed funding from Info Edge.
The company targets a costly gap: factories lose 20–25% of daily output to absenteeism and sudden demand shifts, even as production targets hinge on having workers on hand. Factrika combines deployment technology, field operations, and a talent network spanning more than 4,000 ITIs and 1,000 polytechnic institutes to help manufacturers source, deploy, and manage verified workers - for same-day shift staffing, seasonal ramp-ups, or full-time hiring - with real-time attendance tracking and guaranteed replacement support.
