Empirik.ai has raised $21.0M in a seed round backed by Sequoia Capital, Canapi Ventures, and Alumni Ventures, as the startup pushes its pitch that infrastructure teams can stop firefighting and start predicting.
Founded in 2023 by Avon Puri and Sudheer Dhurjati, Empirik builds what it calls an "autonomous infrastructure engineer." The software captures changes across code, CI/CD pipelines, cloud, Kubernetes, identity, and on-prem systems, then compiles them into a live operational model-the Compiled System Graph-so teams can calculate risk and blast radius before a change ships, rather than diagnosing issues after the fact. The company says it’s already running in production at Guardant Health, Avahi Systems, TCBPay, and unnamed Fortune 500 enterprises.
