Embra AI has raised $1.0M in pre-seed funding to build what it calls the data network for Physical AI - the infrastructure connecting real-world robotics data with the teams training intelligent machines.
The platform handles dataset discovery, evaluation, curation and sourcing across multimodal data, including video, sensor measurements, and robot state and actions. It's aimed at robotics teams working on tasks like manipulation, object handovers and navigation, helping them find and assess data relevant to the environments and capabilities they're developing. The company says it serves both teams hunting for training data and contributors who have relevant datasets to offer.
