A $6.3M Seed round has landed for Dopl Technologies, the Bothell, Washington company building a distributed care platform for remote diagnostic ultrasound. Founded in 2022, the startup leverages robotics and AI to connect expert clinicians to patients who need high-quality diagnostic ultrasound most, regardless of where they live.
The investment, backed by SpringTide Ventures, Washington Research Foundation Capital, and TVF | Tacoma Venture Fund, aims to close an access gap affecting over 50 million people in the United States, particularly in rural communities where specialized care has historically been limited. Dopl is currently pursuing FDA clearance for its product ecosystem, which includes Traverseā¢, a remote robotic ultrasound system.
