Dolphin Semiconductor Secures $26 Million in Funding to Drive Innovation in Semiconductor Technology

Dolphin Semiconductor, an innovative leader in the semiconductor industry, has proudly announced the successful raising of $26 million in its latest funding round.

Headquartered in France and with operations in Quebec and Singapore, Dolphin Design harnesses the expertise of over 180 talented professionals, including 150 engineers dedicated to designing critical functions of integrated circuits, known as IP blocks, ASICs, and System-on-Chips (SoCs).

This influx of funds will be directed towards advancing the company’s cutting-edge research in energy-efficient chip design.

Known for its remarkable ability to minimize energy requirements to less than 15 microjoules, particularly in voice-controlled systems, Dolphin has earned prestigious accolades such as a nomination for an innovation award at Embedded World and recognition as one of the top 1,000 globally to receive the Solar Impulse label for sustainability.

The funding will accelerate the development of solutions that cater to a variety of industries, including consumer electronics, IoT, multimedia, AI, 5G, as well as automotive and aerospace sectors.

With a customer base exceeding 600 companies, Dolphin focuses on fostering long-term collaborations that inspire innovation while championing responsible energy consumption.
