As a queer, woman of color owned business, we are dedicated to transforming the spice trade by empowering small, organic spice farmers across South Asia who passionately engage in sustainable, regenerative agriculture.

With over 1000 farm partners across 10 states in India and Sri Lanka and a select group of 150 strategic alliances since 2021, our work brings richly flavored, heirloom spices straight from the fields to your kitchen.

This funding will accelerate our efforts to expand these partnerships and further our commitment to delivering freshly harvested, ethically sourced spices that are grown solely for their authentic taste and aroma.

We believe that the traditional spice trade has long neglected quality in favor of high volume and profit margins, and our approach puts flavor first by focusing on heirloom seed varieties and ensuring that every spice we curate meets our rigorous standards.

Moreover, putting equality at the heart of our operations, we consistently pay our partner farms an average of six times the market price for their produce, while also providing necessary support such as harvest advances and healthcare for laborers.

This investment not only fuels operational expansion and innovative sourcing techniques, but also strengthens our cultural mission to celebrate South Asian flavors, stories, and foodways that have been historically underrepresented.
