Dessn, a startup focused on streamlining the often-clunky handoff between design and engineering, has secured $6.0M in seed funding. The capital infusion will fuel the company's mission to bring designers and product managers directly into the production process, allowing them to prototype with real components and codebase without ever opening an integrated development environment (IDE).
The seed round saw participation from investors Connect Ventures, Betaworks, and N49P. Dessn's platform aims to eliminate friction by enabling teams to work with live components, bridging the gap between conceptual design and functional code.
