DEScycle, a deep tech company aiming to transform the metals industry, has secured $7.0M in new funding to scale its innovative recycling methods. The startup is developing eco-friendly Deep Eutectic Solvents (DES), non-toxic and non-water-based salts that enable low-temperature, low-energy operations for metal recovery.
This capital infusion will help DEScycle push its goal of ending the industry's reliance on high-energy pollutive smelters and toxic chemicals. By producing low-carbon, low-impact metals, the company seeks to offer a sustainable alternative to traditional, environmentally damaging processes.
