Cytix has raised $7.0M in a Series A round, a bet that security teams need a decision layer, not just another scanning tool, for the nonstop churn of modern software development.
The round was backed by Northern Gritstone, Auriga Cyber Ventures, and NPIF II – PXN Equity Finance. Cytix’s pitch is that it reads the context behind every ticket, pull request, and release, helping security, engineering, and risk teams figure out which changes actually carry risk and what evidence to keep. It already counts KPMG and NCC Group’s continuous testing programme as customers, which suggests the product has found traction beyond the usual early-adopter crowd.
