Cuprum Metals, a company developing advanced leaching techniques for copper extraction, has secured $19.4M in Series A funding. The capital infusion will back its mission to unlock previously untapped copper resources, offering major mining companies a more efficient, cost-effective, and eco-friendly alternative to traditional practices.
The startup's proprietary technology boasts impressive results, demonstrating over 92% copper recovery in just 30 minutes at room temperature, and 98% at 55 degrees Celsius. Crucially, these high yields are achieved without the use of toxic chemicals, addressing a key environmental concern in the mining industry.
