While superconductor technology is complex in nature, the impact is clear: when cooled, superconductors transport electricity with zero resistance - meaning more power can flow with no loss, enabling far greater efficiency than conventional cables. But until now, superconductors have been expensive, difficult to scale, and limited by technical constraints. Subra is changing that. Our technologies are based on years of scientific research – designed for sustainable impact. Not only do they have the ability to efficiently transport power across Europe and beyond, they also play a role in tomorrow's energy production. Superconductors are, e.g. essential in enabling the strong magnetic fields needed for fusion power reactors.
