The fight against food waste just got a $707K boost. Crumbs, a platform connecting consumers with surplus food from local businesses, has closed a Seed funding round, securing capital from AYMO Ventures.
Through its mobile app, Crumbs allows users to buy unsold food at discounted prices from restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and wholesalers, preventing waste while offering affordable meals. The platform also enables direct purchases of wholesale products from distributors, helping businesses recover value from unsold inventory and contributing to a more sustainable food system.
