A new class of containers for temperature-controlled transport, up to ten times more effective than existing solutions, is on the horizon thanks to Cria Technologies, which has just closed a $100K seed funding round. The startup is reinventing cold-chain logistics with breakthrough high-vacuum insulation technology, specifically targeting pharma and biotech applications.
Cria's innovation, rooted in particle physics and space exploration know-how, aims to enable safer, longer, and more sustainable transport at ultra-low and cryogenic temperatures. It also promises to reduce reliance on carbon-intensive coolants like dry ice and liquid nitrogen, fostering more eco-friendly alternatives.
