Crest Insurance Group, the Arizona-based agency that has built a multi-state footprint with its local service model, has secured $3.1M in a pre-seed funding round. The company, which provides policies nationwide and emphasizes deep community ties, drew investment from a diverse group of backers.
Among the investors participating were Atrium Ventures, BEENEXT, DeVC, Sparrow, Shastra VC, Warmup Ventures, and 91ventures, joined by individuals Amit Ranjan, Chirag Taneja, and Shantanu Deshpande. Crest Insurance Group was founded in 2010 and has grown to include offices in several states beyond Arizona.
