With its establishment dating back to 1997 as CP Leasing, a.s.

, and backed by powerful financial institutions including Ceska pojistovna – the largest insurance company in the Czech Republic – and membership in the esteemed Crédit Agricole Group, Credium has consistently demonstrated stability and innovation in the financial sector.

In 2005, a milestone was reached when CP Leasing was acquired by French company Sofinco, now known as CACF (Credit Agricole Consumer Finance), a change that set the stage for further expansion and a rebranding to Credium, a.

This strategic evolution allowed Credium to broaden its geographical footprint, notably with the acquisition of OTP Leasing in 2008 to establish Credium Slovakia, reinforcing our influence in both Czech and Slovak markets.

The fresh influx of capital will primarily drive the development of our pioneering car financing products and services.
