CREATIVE CENTRE Secures $5K Seed

The Centre for Creative Development Strategies (CCDS), also known as Creative Centre, has secured $5,000 in investment capital.

This funding round marks a significant step for the women and youth-focused non-governmental organization, which is dedicated to fostering positive social change and economic empowerment in Nigeria.

Registered in March 2009 under the Corporate Affairs Commission in Abuja, Nigeria, CCDS is based in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

The organization passionately facilitates and promotes an enterprising spirit, continuous personal and organizational development, innovation, creativity, excellence, and mentoring cultures.

Its overarching vision is to see a peaceful Nigerian society where there is opportunity, prosperity, and equality for all, achieved by driving creative, innovative, and sustainable development strategies.

CCDS focuses on stimulating positive social change, economic growth, and the empowerment of the most vulnerable groups.

The organization has a proven track record, having successfully carried out numerous donor-funded projects since its inception.

These initiatives have been supported by prominent organizations such as the World Bank, The Global Fund Round 9, United States Agency For International Development (USAID), Foundation For Partnership In the Niger Delta, May and Baker Nigerian PLC, Cinfores, and most recently TrustAfrica.

The newly raised capital of $5,000 will be instrumental in supporting CCDS's ongoing programs and expanding its reach.

The organization plans to use the funds to strengthen its operational capacity, enhance existing development strategies, and explore new initiatives aimed at empowering women and youth across Nigeria.
