Corporate Commitment in Action: Celebrating a £1,500 Boost for Yorkshire’s Wild Places

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is excited to announce that we have successfully raised 1500 in our latest funding round, furthering our mission to protect and conserve Yorkshire’s wild places and wildlife.

As a local charity committed to caring for over 100 nature reserves—including iconic sites like Spurn National Nature Reserve, Staveley Nature Reserve, Potteric Carr, and the stunning Flamborough Cliffs—this funding represents a vital boost to our conservation efforts.

Every penny raised is dedicated to supporting projects that safeguard our natural heritage while inspiring communities to reconnect with nature.

With this additional support, we will continue to create a Living Landscape, ensuring our wild spaces are interconnected so that wildlife can thrive and adapt in an ever-changing world.

This generous funding will also enhance our work with Yorkshire’s coastal areas, the Living Seas component of our work.

Our coastlines not only harbor internationally important wildlife such as breeding seabirds and vibrant intertidal ecosystems but also support local research and public engagement activities that highlight the beauty and fragility of these marine habitats.

Furthermore, the raised funds will contribute directly to our education and awareness campaigns, reinforcing our commitment that nature matters.
