Clave Capital has backed CONNECTA Therapeutics with a $3.6M Seed investment, fueling the clinical-stage biotech's mission to address unmet medical needs in Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders. The company, which focuses on pediatric neurodevelopmental conditions, is developing small-molecule neuroplasticity modulators.
Its lead program, CTH120, targets Fragile X Syndrome, a rare and untreatable disorder, by aiming to restore underlying neuronal architecture rather than just treating symptoms. The new capital will support its ongoing Phase II clinical trial in adults with FXS and prepare for pediatric development, including with additional support from the FRAXCURE project.
